In unionized workplaces,when faced with an impending grievance or arbitration on a legal issue of contract interpretation or employee discipline, Center staff can jointly confer with the parties and supply research assistance, addressing how arbitrators or the courts are responding to the parties’ issue.  However, any such guidance provided by Center staff is not considered legal advice.
