During the life of any employment relationship labor-management relationship, issues and problems are certain to arise. Oftentimes, these difficulties are caused by the failure of communication between the employer, the employee and/or a labor organization. Left unaddressed, those issues can result in lost productivity, grievances, arbitrations, lawsuits, and perhaps, even work stoppages.
The staff of the Center can offer workplace facilitation and mediation services to help parties to communicate more effectively, manage their conflicts productively, foster collaboration, and build consensus on workplace issues.
